David Costema
Dave has been playing the trombone for just over 30 years, 19 of these were with the Army in a military band.
His military career led him to attended The Royal Military School of Music at Kneller Hall.
After retiring from active service, he has worked as Director of Music for Gwent County Council and took time
out from the activities of a professional musician in order to train in Instrumental Repair.
Since becoming a qualified Repair Technician, Dave has worked as a Repair Technician for one of Europe's largest
instrumental suppliers - Normans Musical Instruments. After being exposed to the wide range of reapairs
neccessary in such an environment, Dave decided to become an independent Repair Technician,
working from the comfort of his own workshop.
